Quickshot Screen Capture Review by LifetimeUpgrades.com

Quickshot Screen Capture version 0.8 was installed and tested on Windows
7 64-bit operating system with default installs. The file is
downloaded as a zip file so an unzipper software program may be needed
but Windows usually does a good job extracting this type of file
extension.
Upon install, we were presented by an activation screen for a
registration. This is a anti-piracy protocol by the software
developer. The trial was then activated over the internet and took
approximately 10 seconds to complete. Next we were to choose between
English and Dutch languages. The program then immediately docked in the
system tray bar at the far bottom right of the screen with a small
camera icon.
This software allows for easy capture of a region, window, or
fullscreen and upon capture by default you can press the computers
print key to capture a region, alt+print to capture window, or
control+print for the full screen. Once captured the Quickshot image
editor box is presented with a few options. Your options for editing
the image are: draw rectangle, draw an elipse, draw a line, draw a line
with arrow, insert text, highlight, obscure a region to blur out, or
crop.
Once finished, you could save the new screenshot as a jpeg file or copy image to clipboard for pasting.
The pros:
Low Price for a lifetime upgrade.
The features.
Small file size.
The Cons:
Internet activation (though the reason is understandable).
There is no undo feature.
Great product for those on a tight budget.

This download is a 14-day trial version. You may download, install, and use it during the 14-day evaluation period. If you decide to keep using Quickshot after this period, you will have to register it. The trial version is fully functional.
This is probably a tool worth looking at, if not for the price itself.
