LifetimeUpgrades.com has downloaded and installed King Kong Capture Software (v.1.2.0.26) on a Windows 7 64-bit operating system using the program defaults.  After install we were presented with four basic setup steps for use.

King Kong Capture interface has the ability to capture 6 different capture styles including:
1. Entire screen.
2. Active screen.
3. Entire desktop.
4. Capture specific size selection.
5. Capture icon image.
6. Capture polygon.

What we have noticed is this software lacks any type of editing effects except a crop.  There was no highlighting feature, no adding watermark images, no adding text.  You basically just received a screen capture software program.

What we did like about the software is the ability to draw around our capture.  This would come in handy for objects with irregular shapes.  We also like the many save features that come with the software.  You are given the option to save your screen capture in one of 15 different image types.

A couple of problems we encountered with this software was error message upon trying to register.  The problem disappear once we reinstalled.  The other problem occurred when we tried to print and changed the print size to normal.  At that point the software froze and we were forced to shut it down.

We would recommend holding off on purchasing this version of the software (1.2.0.26) until it has been updated. 

After speaking with the authors of the software, they reassure me the software is active and is planned for updates.
