Lifetime Upgrades Review of DVD-Ranger

DVD-Range downloaded and installed on Windows 7 64-bit operating system.  With no problem.

At first run, we were pleased to see we had 7 days of unrestricted use.  All functions were enabled and tested.

We were pleased to see DVD-Ranger was able to take our dual layer DVD and create an exact duplicate, a DVD that was shrunk to fit a single layer, to convert it to mkv or avi, burn it at our request.

Things we would recommend:
We were not able to burn our data or DVD to rewritable CD or DVD.
When adding video to Que, the Start Now asked us at each use where to save the conversion instead of defaulting to our last setting.
We wish there was a Preview option to see the quality of our conversion settings before the actual encode.
No option in the settings allowing us to set the default save files.

Some of the most pleasing features that we found were very useful would be the following:
DVD-Ranger was able to rip and convert our DVD to our hard drive with the output files as ISO or Hard Drive folders.
DVD-Ranger was able to rip and convert our DVD to a single layer DVD ISO file or Hard Drive folder.
Easy to use preset converters.
Quick speed on conversion and duplication.
DVD-Ranger was able to re-encode Blu-Ray discs as well without any difficulties.
Conversion to specific mobile devices (iPod, iPad, Zune, PSP, Windows Mobile, etc.), Playstation 3, and XBox.
DVD-Ranger was able to re-encode every DVD we threw at it.
The end quality of our conversions was superb and when compared to DVD Shrink, it was even better in our opinion (dependent on your settings).
Great customer support.

Our final opinion of this software is clear.  This is a must have in your collection of DVD Rippers and Converters.  The design and development is fantastic.  The customer support was also fantastic and quick to respond.  We encourage you to download it, use it for the 7 days, write the author and tell them your thoughts.
